Video surveillance equipment manufacturer Axis Communications this week introduced a new in-camera chip, ARTPEC-4 (Axis Real Time Picture Encoder), which the company says will enhance image quality and video analytics performance in its network cameras and encoders.
According to a statement, ARTPEC is designed to provide video with lower noise and higher light sensitivity, thereby delivering sharper images of moving objects.
